Everything we do has an impact

As an independent manufacturer and a company that directly links its mission to the well-being of the community, we believe it is extremely important to be transparent and careful with our products. That’s why below are the steps we want to take to have a positive impact on the world of textiles. Because every small decision can have a big impact.

Source of materials

We choose our flax only from Europe, both for agriculture and processing. Our flax comes from processing factories with high quality standards, such as Spain, Italy, Lithuania and France, so that we can ensure that:

  • it was dyed correctly
  • the dyes were not spilled into rivers
  • the people who work there were treated and paid well
  • the products do not contain traces of toxic substances

And all this is ensured through the material certifications that you can read about below. If you choose us, you can be sure that the flax is not from China, Pakistan, India or Turkey.

Furthermore, we have chosen our suppliers and place orders in such a way as to minimize our carbon footprint, through the routes and mode of transport chosen.

Stocks and the culture of convenience

Although we live in a fast world, we prefer to break this rhythm of convenience and not keep stocks of products. This encourages slower consumption, an extension of patience and an increase in pleasure. Our products are delivered in approximately 7 working days (does not apply to curtains, carpets or embroidered pillows) and are completely customized.

We work exactly as you want and we don’t want to be another retailer.

Packaging

Our products are packaged in paper or cotton with hemp, tied with cotton tape and the labels used are made of recycled paper. They are elegant, minimalist and can be given as gifts.

The deliveries of flax

To minimize our carbon footprint, we make deliveries 3 times a week, not every day, thus streamlining the transport route.

Recycling

We recycle the remnants of our materials and use them in upcycled products. Furthermore, we are launching recycling programs that come with benefits for the customer, so keep an eye on the newsletter. If you want to read more about our recycling equipment, read here.

Repairs

We ensure that Genuin pieces age beautifully and can be passed on to other generations. Therefore, we repair what comes loose and maintain what gets stained. For more details, go here.
